This charming villa is located in one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas along the Amalfi Coast. Conveniently located between Amalfi and Ravello, Villa Carmelina is an ideal base for easy day trips along the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Coast as well as Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the islands of Capri and Ischia.

The pool is situated on the upper floor of the villa and five different levels of large terraces and gardens face the sun and the sea. Each level has its own terrace furnished with tables, comfortable chairs and potted plants. Some are shaded by pergolas or awnings. Each offers a stunning view of the sea. Interiors are luminous, welcoming and tastefully and elegantly furnished in bright Mediterranean style.

Entrance from the main road is along a short, private driveway, accessed by a remote control gate. A garage at one end of the driveway provides parking for one car; two additional cars can park along the driveway. A car is suggested but not essential.

Nineteen steps lead to the main floor of the villa. Where you will find a spacious, airy living/dining room that is elegantly furnished with large sofas around an open fireplace. Large windows offer a wide-open view of the sea, and a wooden dining table seats eight. french doors with white curtains open onto a panoramic terrace with spectacular views. Terrace is furnished with ceramic-top table and wrought-iron chairs (seats 6). Another set of french doors leads to another terrace, also with sea view.

The fully equipped kitchen can be reached from the living room and also from the terrace, making it easy to organize outdoor meals. The kitchen opens onto an angled terrace surrounded by pine trees and a mature violet bougainvillea. This terrace is perfect for outdoor meals with its breathtaking seascape big table and shaded awnings. Next to the kitchen is the elevator.

From a hallway behind the living room there is a spacious double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, french doors open to the terrace with views of the sea.

The upper level of the villa can be reached through the indoor staircase or the elevator where there are three double bedrooms. One large bedroom with en-suite bath and two double bedrooms that share a bathroom located in the hall. Each bedroom has a TV, air conditioning controls and french doors that open on to terraces with sea views.

From the upper level, the elevator leads to a spacious terrace that can also be reached from the villa entrance by an external staircase. The terrace has a terracotta floor and is decorated with large pots overflowing with geraniums.

Stairway of 21 steps leads to the top level, with a huge terrace offering spectacular views of the sea and coast and comfortably furnished outdoor spaces.

The swimming pool is located on the top level along with two outdoor showers, deck chairs and furniture for sitting and eating, including a shaded dining area with table, a charcoal BBQ, and an angle outfitted as a bar.
